Just Look Where He Brought Me From: The Family Quilts of Mary Lee Bendolph
OCTOBER 2024—SEPTEMBER 2025
Curated by Souls Grown Deep in collaboration with two of Bendolph’s children–Rubin Bendolph, Jr. and quiltmaker Essie Bendolph Pettway–the exhibition brought together quilts, prints, and archival images to showcase the powerful throughlines of storytelling, cultural expression, and familial connection in Bendolph’s work. Extended through September 24th.
